Caffeinees is a quaint little café housed in a single-storey garden bungalow. If one is not familiar with the roads in Kuala Lumpur, it is quite easy to miss the café as it is located just next to the open road with no visible signage prior to approaching. The only thing I can advise is to look to your left once you turned into Jalan Kampung Pandan and look out for the cream coloured bungalow.
The patio in plain view when we entered, certainly looks inviting and homely. After we signed in the guest book; as we were there to attend a colleague’s wedding lunch, I went to explore the back area. It was quite a spacious open area with a view of the Petronas Twin Tower in the back and tables were set up for the guests as well.
However, it was really quite a warm day where people preferred the comforts of the air-condition inside. Furthermore, it was time to take a look at the wedding cake; which was quite cute as it was shaped like 3 pillow cases of sizes small to large, stacked on top of one another.
After a while longer, the buffet line was open and time to feed our stomachs. We then head out to the open area at the back again to queue for our food, which was quite a spread.
Food was great and I especially love the Caribbean Chicken Cutlet and Rib Eye Cutlet! Mmmmmm, yes, I am a Carnivore! The food however did get cold quite fast.
With a good ambience to chill-out and yummy food, this is a place to check out when you are in Kuala Lumpur.
